I am a Research Associate Professor at the Seoul National University Brain Imaging Center and a computational and systems neuroscientist studying the brain as a complex, dynamic, and networked system.
My research integrates neuroimaging, medical imaging data science, neuroinformatics, and machine learning to uncover the organizational principles of the brain and their alterations in disease. I develop computational frameworks spanning MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, and brain-body imaging, with a particular focus on connectomics, dynamic network modeling, causal modeling, and individualized prediction.
By bridging systems neuroscience and clinical research, I aim to identify neuroimaging markers of neuropsychiatric trajectories and systemic determinants of brain health. Ultimately, my goal is to advance precision medicine in neurology and psychiatry through integrative models of the brain-mind-body axis.
